WMX is hoping for renewed interest on the MXGP programme

Twenty two girls have put their names down for the opening round of the WMX world series in Qatar next week. After three years in the MX3 wilderness the girls are hoping for renewed recognition, even though their infrequent outings alongside the big names in the men's game in recent years didn't exactly pack the stands at the crack of dawn or in the evening twilight. Nat Kane is the only Brit flying to the Gulf; click "More" to see the full list of girls who have been down the local market buying a burka for the trip.
