James Stewart has finally broken his silence about the incident on Highway 417 on Monday.
Although not penned by himself, the response has been posted on his behalf on his official website js7.com and can thus be taken as his personal view (or at least that advised by his attorney LOL) of the incident. The article confirms that he is free to race the Arlington SX in Texas on Saturday.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, James Stewart was arrested yesterday and charged with "impersonating a police officer" !

The champions of Italy are French ! In a sensational final round at Gazzane di Preseglie Steven Frossard deservedly became the overall champion in the Internazioli d'Italia and Gautier Paulin completed the double for Rinaldi Yamaha as he ended the series top MX2 rider even though he missed the final round to race - and win ! - in France.

Aigar Leok has decided, just two and a half weeks before the start of the 2011 MX GP season, to quit motocross and move over to the TM factory's enduro team.
The younger of TM's Estonian 25 year old cousins by two months, Aigar suffered life-threatening internal injuries at the start of last year and, despite a brave comeback which has brought a couple of top ten finishes in the Internazionali d'Italia, has decided together with the Pesaro factory that the more casual world of WEC is now more suited to his talents than the balls-out world of MXGP.

PAR Honda have now confirmed that Luke Hawkins, who was airlifted from Hawkstone Park to Shrewsbury hospital on Sunday, is in a stable condition. Immediately following the incident it wasn't clear just how serious Luke's injuries were, but tests have confirmed he has broken his wrist, bruised his spleen, has a minor fracture to one of his vertebrae in his back, has some trouble breathing, but most worryingly has a major laceration to one of his kidneys.

It was doubles all round in the second round of the Dutch championship as Ken De Dycker, Jeff Herlings and Larissa Papenmeier each dominated their classes at Halle. Herlings won both MX2 motos by more than half a minute from Red Bull Teka KTM teammate Jeremy Van Horebeek, while "Keeno" took the opening MX1 moto by nearly a minute.

Jake Nicholls, Britain's best native hope for the MX2 Maxxis, broke his left ankle yesterday whilst training at Doncaster; he will be operated tomorrow morning, but can wave goodbye to his hopes of clinching the national title he came so close to last summer.

Billy MacKenzie has won the opening round of the Australian outdoor series at Broadford. The Scot only won one of the four motos in the rapid-fire programme with just a short interval between each, but he was the only rider to make the podium each time as the heavens opened just before the start of the first race.

It looks like the GP in Spain in June may be on the move; the national daily "El Pais" is reporting that the state consortium of national sports council, regional and local government has pulled the plug on their subsidies for the motocross GP at Bellpuig.
UPDATE 10.3.2011 Youthstream have now confirmed that the GP of CATALUNYA on June 18/19 will be replaced by a GP of SPAIN. No venue is yet named but the word on the street is that it will be TALAVERA !
